Knox Skate & BMX Park is a vibrant, youth-focused park where families, children and the whole community can get active. Our aim is to provide a safe and welcoming environment for all.
Location
Located in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Knox Skate & BMX Park is a 10 minute drive from Ferntree Gully Station, and is also accessible via the bus routes 693 and 753.
Staffed Hours
Knox Skate & BMX Park is free and open to the public at all times. Our friendly staff are also on site to assist at the below times:
- Summer weekends: 10:00am - 2:00pm
- Summer school holidays: 10:00am - 2:00pm
- Spring and Autumn weekends: 11:00am - 3:00pm
- Spring and Autumn school holidays: 11:00am - 3:00pm
- Public holidays: unstaffed
- Winter months: unstaffed
Facilities
Specific features include euro gap, 4 stair rail, quarter pipe to vert pillar, 1.5m shallow bowl, 2.7m deep bowl, 2.5m hemisphere cup, grind blocks to flat bank, diamond fun box, stairs rails, and a manual pad. The surfaces include concrete, granite and metal.

Knox Skate & BMX Park is owned by City of Knox and managed by YMCA Victoria. We work with a number of community, sports and government bodies to offer opportunities for all our participants. YMCA is the leader in community and recreation facility management. We aim to provide the best in community care and services.
